Managing director of Khorasan gas production management company said that with the implementation of more than 90 MW of cooling systems, the power generation capacity of the Shirvan power plant was added in the summer.

Last year in Shirvan, we experienced a power failure, but fortunately this year we did not have such a problem. One of the reasons for this was an increase of 15 megawatts of production capacity of each power plant unit by launching the air intake system of gas turbines, and given this increase in power by relying on equipment and facilities are available. This project can be used for economic reasons this project can be considered as an example of a resilient economy, he said. With the implementation of more than 90 MW of cooling media, the electricity generation capacity of the Shirvan power plant has been added in the summer. This amount will require investing 1,200 billion Rials at the plant if the new power plant is to be built.

Engineer Ismail Namazi, deputy head of the technical support and supervision department of the mother company specialized in producing thermal power plant, said: "Serving the people in the power industry complex is a great achievement for the activists in this area." Currently, power storage is not possible. It should be produced at any given time to the extent required by the subscribers, making this a much more difficult task. At any given moment, the network should also have a certain amount of storage to prevent problems in an emergency exit.

Therefore, it is necessary to save on electricity consumption. He added that very little investment in the implementation of intake air cooling systems to compensate for the decline in summer peak production is a very early and reliable way of working, and we hope that in other power plants in the country, it will also be possible to implement these plans from the summer of next year.

Shirvan governor Abbas Safa'i said at the ceremony that 99 percent of today's lives depend on electricity, he said: "If the power supply is cut off, we will have a problem, and all the production and service systems will be deactivated, and one example is the crisis of power failure in Shirvan in September last year created a difficult situation at a time, and the problem was eradicated within 24 hours with a special emergency power supply from Farouj and Baba Aman posts. He later said: Soon after, steam cycle of the combined cycle of Shirvan will be utilized with a credit of more than 2 trillion Tomans.
